Home Health Aides specialize in patient home care for elderly, convalescent,disabled or discharged hospital patients on a long or short term basis.Home Health Aides may work in patients' homes or hospice settings caring for patients who are dying.
According to California Labor Market Info at EDD; "In California, the number of Home Health Aides is expected to grow much faster than average growth rate for all occupations. Jobs for Home Health Aides are expected to increase by 39.0 percent, or 18,700 jobs between 2006 and 2016."
Pre-requisites include a current Certified Nurses Assistant in good standing; current CPR/BLS, and pass health requirements.
